To ensure smooth and seamless operation of our cryopumps, we recommend revisions at regular intervals:
- After 15,000 operating hours, revision of the cold head and the inner parts of the cryopump
- After 30,000 operating hours, revision of the compressor and replacement of the adsorber
If you plan your revisions well in advance, we can send you a loan pump to prevent any interruptions in production. Failure to adhere to the revision intervals may result in unnecessary disruptions. In such cases, we are always motivated to find a quick replacement solution for the customer.
A complete revision in our workshop consists of the following:
Cold head

- Input power test on the test bench
- Cleaning of all inside parts
- If necessary, reworking of the machine tube for stage 1 and stage 2 inside
- Replacement of seals, piston rings and bearings
- Helium leak test
- Final performance test to ensure flawless functionality
Parts inside cryopump

- Overhaul of the panel on the 2nd stage (activated carbon)
